Volunteer for TCKID

TCKID has become my community where once I had none.
The support is invaluable and allows me to finally find ways to get in contact with other TCKs. If I had had this when I was a child I would have dealt with struggles in a much more positive way."
TCKID is a true blessing. - Lauren, Oregon
The people I have meet through TCKID have allowed me to uncover a part of my soul that I didn't even know existed. I have never been open with anyone, including my closest family members, about how being a TCK made me feel; but I can now. There are no wrong answers, experiences, or feelings. Thank you so much for this amazing site. I am rediscovering who I am and who I want to become. This is a true blessing."
Thank you for reaching out! - Joy, Blaine MN.
"I cried when I read TCKID's emails and I thank you for giving me a little peek into your life. Thanks for your note and concern. Because my tears are a sign that I felt your heart beat in the story below. My daughter heard about TCKID, and signed me up, so I guess she really loves me too. Thanks for reaching out to us MKs."
Blessings on what you're doing - Ruth Van Reken, consultant and writer.
"I know you are changing lives through TCKID. This site is a blessing and I will add it in my book."

Why volunteer?
TCKID is an unincorporated non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers and is the fastest growing community for TCKs. We are now read by many major entities, been mentioned in numerous organizations such as The Girl Scouts of the USA, Among Worlds Magazine and the FIGT (Families in Global Transition) conference for TCKs, and are the clear leader in active discussion.
We are growing fast, but with increased growth, comes increased responsibility. Furthermore, many of us are still unaware that most TCK communities and organizations are dependent are on our involvement.
Your contribution to TCKID will help deepen TCKs and adult TCKs' ability to recognize and develop fully the gifts received from this TCK experience by getting the support and assistance they need. TCKID programs offer TCKs a tangible ways for them to express themselves in a safe way without being judged, are able to open up to anyone about how being a TCK makes them feel, and have gotten the resources and assistance they need.
